I offer psychotherapy for individual adults and teens, play therapy for children, and couples counseling for relationships of all kinds. Coming to therapy requires significant courage and vulnerability; it is initiating a process of change, and when things change, they often do so in ways we don't expect. So whether you are coming in on your own, with your partner, or sending your child, know that I am respectful of the way things have been, and careful in helping you navigate your path forward.

As your therapist, it is my job to evoke and support your natural tendency toward health. Together, we’ll explore both your hopes and your struggles. In doing so, the knots that restrict your authentic expression will come to light and gradually unwind, allowing for a fuller and more satisfying experience in the world.

With individual adults and teens, I work well with the following:

  • Depression

  • Shyness

  • Despair and hopelessness

  • Shame and guilt

  • Low self-esteem

  • Decision making

  • Relationships and intimacy

  • Trauma

With children, because their brains are still developing, the most direct route to healing is through symbolic play. Using different modalities of play therapy, including Sand Play, I will carefully attune to your child and help them express and resolve the various struggles they are experiencing.

In couples counseling, I support partners who are experiencing various forms of relational distress including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Emotional disconnection

  • Difficulty communicating

  • Loss of passion

  • Sexual difficulties

  • Infidelity

  • Money issues

  • Navigating personal trauma histories
